FAQs
How do you photograph weddings?
For me, being a good photographer starts before your wedding day. I love to know as many details about your day beforehand, so I love to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites etc. You are welcome to an unlimited amount of meetings with me. I ask that we at least have 1 or 2 to just go over all the details of the day as well as what moments you are most looking forward to.
On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. My goal is to help the day run as smoothly as possible, so I bring a little box of emergency supplies. Things like a sewing kit, gum, hairspray, extra bobby pins. I am also always happy to lend a hand, so in the down times you can find me helping to arrange things, or getting you guys some water or a bite to eat.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in the rural town of Coonabarabran in NSW, Australia and although it is a beautiful place, I get it, not everyone wants to get married there. And the good news is I love to travel! It doesn't matter if you want me to come just down the road or 15hrs away, I will be there with bells on. Travel fees do apply, but don't worry, I'm thrifty and love to find the cheapest/most efficient way to get to you.
When will we get our photos?
The next day, you will receive 30 fully edited images by 11am, so that you can announce to the world YOU ARE MARRIED! These images will come in an online gallery so you can easily download them from anywhere.
Your full gallery will come 8 - 10 weeks later depending on the season. Again you will recieve an online gallery for you to enjoy anywhere and download at anytime. I also like to send out a little gift box which includes a USB with a copy of your photos, as well as some other little things.
How many pictures will we receive?
Lots and lots, depending on how much time I've spent with you, it can range from 300 to 700 photos.
How do you do billing?
I ask that you pay a booking fee to secure the date. It's usually about a 3rd of the final sum. You then can decide either to pay the rest of the balance in installments or the remaining lump sum 6 weeks before your wedding.
