Hey there!

Welcome to my creative space. My name is Xanthe. I'm a wife, a mother, a believer but basically and a woman in love with her camera!

For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with photos. One of my favourite things to do, is to sit with my grandparents and flip through their photo albums. They may point to a particular photo and say - 'that was your great great grandmother, she was a very fine lady. You know one time...' - and all of a sudden you are being told the stories of your ancestors.

I love that photos have the power to pull you right back to a moment you may have long forgotten. They are also so important in telling our stories to the next generations.

I believe photography is fundamentally an art form. I have a degree in Fine Arts which is a flashy way of saying I'm professionally trained in how to make things look pretty. I am very thoughtful in the way I consider composition in photos, and love to explore and play with form, colour and light.

I think that your story is one that is precious, beautiful and worth telling through photos that you and your family can cherish forever. I can't wait to help you share it.
